Large fits my judgement
My son is 11 years old (he has a small build) and I bought the medium one. The pajama set was huge for him and the shorts and top looked like a dress on him. I also expected the cotton to be much softer. I ended up returning them but a smaller size might have been better.

- I like the fabric style and everything but the shorts is no good because of the fake pockets.
