First I got an 18-55 whale lens with my X-E3, which I was super super happy with. Great results with this lens. But after a few months of shooting i thought it would be nice to get something with more zoom to cover more angles. Thus the 55-200mm lens was born. I was very happy with the results. Some people claim that when you zoom in, the picture gets softer. It is not true. I've tested it extensively and the zoom lens is very sharp up to 200mm. You just need to know how to use your camera settings properly to get the most out of it. from your lens and camera. My X-E3 did very well with this lens. It's easier than it looks. The rubberized zoom ring feels good in the hand. Autofocus focusing works great with the X-E3. This is the perfect complement to 18-55. The lenses are now in my bag along with the X-E3. With such a general 18-200 range, I haven't encountered many situations where I felt I needed a different lens. These 2 lenses are a perfect match!
