Update: I bought this mascara again on November 2, 2017. I still love this mascara, but I'm having a really hard time understanding how the price could have increased by $10 between November 2017 and December 27, 2017. cannot justify the price increase. I've been buying natural health food mascara for many years. I have very sensitive eyes and department store and grocery store mascara irritates my eyes. I wasn't sure what to expect since I'd been dabbling with my other mascara for so long. But this mascara is great! The bottle is transparent so you can see how much product you are getting. I have to admit that sometimes my other mascaras didn't last as long as I expected, but since you can't tell how much product you're getting, it's possible that the manufacturer didn't completely fill the bottle. With this mascara, you know exactly what you're getting. Another plus is the small brush. My eyes are set further back and a big hand can be a real pain. Simply cover all lashes. Since my eyes are further apart, my lashes touch my browbones, and that's where I usually have little mascara dots that pop up later in the day as they spread across my skin. I did notice a small amount, but it wasn't spread like all the other mascaras I've used. I gave this mascara 5 stars because it is a huge improvement over my store bought natural brand and I will definitely be buying this product again.
