what fun! This is a very creative design. The downside is that one or two stitches of one color will splatter and then you have to switch to another color. The advantage is that it creates a watercolor effect. I have completed six of the nine panels. The deer is quite complex due to the many similar colors. I mark the letters with a yellow marker before embroidering and then with a blue marker when I'm done. This makes it easier to find all the same colors on the first pass. I hope that makes sense. Booklet with 9 individual pages makes this set unique. No more giant mesh to manipulate by folding and bending. I would definitely not recommend it for beginners.
