Great shampoo! I have been struggling with severe dry scalp for over a year. I am African American with very curly hair and the medicated shampoo prescribed by my dermatologist helped keep my scalp healthy but was too dry for my hair. I am absolutely amazed by this shampoo that gently removes dry scalp, cleans and conditions my hair well, AND it smells wonderful! I also tried the conditioner, it's good. But the shampoo works on its own, cleans and cares. Buy an air conditioner if you wish someone a cute gift set. It's a nice addition, but the shampoo can really work on its own. I've been using the shampoo for 4 months.
