Larger than expected
This was quite large, so I returned it. In retrospect, I wish we had used it as the smaller drain is now leaving a dirty ring around the drain from pooling water. Check the drain whole size of your sink to see which size you need. If it has a larger sunken area where water can pool, this larger drain might not be a bad idea.
