After years of watching triangle rope swings, I finally ordered this flight cage swing for my six budgies (they live in the Petco Designer Mink Brown Parrot Cage). I was glad the swing I received is actually teal instead of red green as shown in the picture - it's much prettier. The chain links are thick, smooth and strong and appear to be made of stainless steel. My only minor complaint is that the stainless steel rod that goes through the middle of the rope sticks out a bit at the corners - it would be nice if there was enough rope material to cover it or if something else was placed on top of the rope. corners to cover it. I have to watch my little rodents not to chew on this piece of bare metal as it can be poisonous. I also cut the tassel as short as possible to keep my little toes from getting tangled in it. Everything else about this swing is great and the parrots love them! They probably took a day to get used to and jump, and now every time I walk into a room I see at least one bird perched on it. I've seen up to four on it at a time, and these are birds that don't like sharing other swings. ;) It gives them some movement as well as soft legroom. My kids are happy, I'm happy.
