Before deciding on this tool I checked out the comments and on a previous review I found the leg buckle to be more secure. Coincidentally, the reviewer had the same car as me. After receiving the tool, I went to my local auto parts store and purchased M6-1.0 x 20mm hex bolts, lock washers, flat washers and installed the feet with this equipment. The image comparison of the two connecting elements speaks for itself. Once the legs were aligned with the retaining ring and tightened, removing and replacing the retaining ring was easier than expected.
