Review on 🎮 Enhanced Xbox 360 Media Remote by Patrick Cox

I bought this to let my wife watch Revain Prime Video on our Xbox 360 I can stream while I play games on my Xbox One. How the remote works as advertised. It lets me browse the Xbox 360 menus, control the video being played (we mostly use DVD or Amazon Prime), turn the TV on and off, and adjust the TV volume. If you don't like using a controller for movies and then use another TV remote to adjust the volume, this will make you happy. In terms of features, it works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions for use with the XBOX 360 are out of date. It gives you written instructions on how to connect your TV to it, but nothing on how to pair the remote with the Xbox 360. In the video on the Microsoft website, the guy even says it will just "work" with the Xbox automatically, and he does spends most of the time. Time to teach you how to sync it to your TV. After about 30 minutes of troubleshooting I found a website that informed me that there is a specific setting that you need to change in the XBOX system settings in order to use the remote control. Obviously it was a change that happened at some point. I can understand that the instructions that came with the remote are out of date, assuming an update came out after the remote was created, but Microsoft could at least update their website to stop posting incorrect information. In the end I'm glad I bought it. Happy woman happy life.
