I was very disappointed when I received this in the mail. First, it wasn't driftwood as described. It is a wooden stick with pieces of driftwood glued to the stone to hold it. My expectation is that after a month or two of water immersion the dowel shank will start to deteriorate or mold will start to form inside. It is not safe for aquatic life. Second, because of the material it's made of, it won't sink even with a rock on the bottom. It floats freely at the top of the tank and knocks on the glass. Overall terrible product. Made cheap. I could find a real piece of driftwood on the street and do better myself.
