Bought this can directly from Klean Kanteen. It's so poorly constructed that it's impossible to open it after something hot has been put inside. The material of the lid is soft plastic, and the thread is like rare hemispheres biting into the plastic of the lid. We hosted a family dinner there but it wasn't possible to get out at the weekend. The family left hungry, the weekend was ruined. Back home I tried different ways of opening, rubber wrapping, holding by many people, even clamping. It ended up bending the metal, but the canister still refused to open. Threw that canister in the trash with lunch in it. Do not buy.
