Maybe it's just part of the V-blade design, but they dull very quickly. (I've seen Youtuber say otherwise.) I basically cut 65 pounds of paper and keep the old chipboard blade. They dull quickly, and I don't usually notice a problem until I suddenly end up wasting a piece of paper and getting feathered edges. . I vary the use of the blade and rotate it. I've even tried sharpening it by notching the foil but haven't found a way to extend the life of the blade yet. Replacement parts create plastic waste. I would have preferred to be able to use the blade like on Xacto knives. The Cricut trimmer works better than others - the blade doesn't move in the channel and the cuts are straight. It is durable and stable. That swingarm is good and the net is useful. I like the built in blade storage. I don't like that the 4 inch mark is on the end of the cutter. I would prefer it to be larger or smaller so more map measurements are clearly on the router or swingarm.
