Review on AeroSDB SMS by Steve French

I love all of the features especially the fact that I can get my flight plans out to other pilots so quickly and easily. The app is slow after you use it for a few days, but it gets better after the first day or two of using it. You cannot send messages to people in your phone's contacts list (only groups). Sometimes when typing a quick message the entire page refreshes which makes it difficult. The best feature is being able to put messages from the apps text box into the message box for other pilots in the area when they are flying close by. We use this mostly on small regional routes where we need to be available to each other. The software is very well organized, and has many different modules for tracking data in the aircraft, from fuel consumption to maintenance records. The reporting tools are also excellent, and there's nothing that I don't like about it. It does take some time to get used to everything, but once you do, you'll know what to expect. We have found this software to be a great asset to our organization. In addition to tracking our maintenance and repair activities, we can track our flight operations as well.
