I REALLY want to give this lamp 5 stars but I can't for a number of reasons. But let me start with the positives first: this light is great and exactly what I need it for. I've used it a few times for camping. I put a flashlight on my dog to keep an eye on him when camping or a night hike and it's bright, easy to use and my pup can't tell he's there. I used another light to hang in my tent to give me some light. This allows you to see perfectly there, but not bright enough to do anything like read a book. I tested the charge time on the brightest setting and it started dying at 6 hours and died completely at 9 hours. last. It feels flimsy and not entirely secure, and once it breaks, something gets into the port and renders it useless. Second, it's not as bright as we'd like. This worked perfectly for my dog, but I could only see a bit inside my tent. I was hoping for a good reading lamp, but that didn't happen.
