Review on πŸ”§ Pair of VCT Camshaft Variable Valve Timing Solenoids for Ford Expedition Explorer F150 F250 F350 Mustang Lincoln Navigator Mercury Mountaineer 3V 5.4L 4.6L, Replacement# 8L3Z-6M280-B with Cam Seals and Screws by Chad Aguirre

Problem fixed, we'll see in the long run

We had problems with rough idle after warming up. Terrible death rattle. The VVT solenoid was disconnected and the check engine light came on, but the problem went away. Sounds like a bad solenoid is to blame. replaced with these inexpensive parts to make sure that was it. Suddenly the problem is solved. In the long run I will buy the factory OEM if it fails but in the short term it was worth getting just 2 valve cover gaskets. The OEM oil seals are of the same casting as this entire kit. Seems to be a great value at the moment. The time will show.
