Short Life Best Bulbs

I have used two sets of these bulbs, one bought in a store and one online. About 4-5 months ago I replaced the headlights on my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek; Installation was difficult, but not because of the lightbulbs. They were decently bright without blinding other drivers. However, last month one of the lightbulbs blew out; replaced again. Another one came out today. I leave my headlights on during the day so I think the 12 month lifespan is shortened to 6-8 months but I can't leave them out all the time as winter approaches; It's just not safe. If you only use headlights at night, I think you're better off with these bulbs.
