Bought for my Samsung S3. It actually works pretty well and fits in the air vent on my 2012 Ford Explorer. It took a bit of TLC to properly hook into the vents (you need to make sure the hooks grab the back of the vents); but in general the process went smoothly and without any problems. Don't force anything and that's fine. This is my first vent mount and compared to suction cup mounts I would buy one anytime. Suckers have never worked reliably for me. And since it's in place, it doesn't seem to interfere with airflow, which bothered me a bit. It's raised far enough above the vents to allow air to enter. The wings expand far enough to fit the Samsung S3 and more. And for me, it's a one-hand operation, taking my phone out or putting it in the holder and wrapping the wings tightly around it. In order to perform a function, the whole thing tends to wobble slightly when you tap the screen firmly. This is because the holder hooks onto the top of the air vents, but simply rests on the underside of the grille. It is fixed from above but moves freely from below. I wish there was a way to attach all three mounting points to the vent so the holder doesn't tip over if you lightly touch the top of the screen. But in general, this is a very small thing - I'm used to it. I am grateful that I can install, see and reach my smartphone in my car very conveniently and safely. Highly recommended!
