I complete the review: The chain worked well. My nervous dog got even more nervous when I started using it so I have no plans to use it again. But it worked great. I decided to use positive value treats (like turkey or chicken) to try to make him less nervous. Original: A little worried about the strength of the chain and rings. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker. Will report if everything was ok as soon as I start using it. My dog is a rescue dog who tends to rush when scared so I want something strong but not too heavy to fix him. I used a halter and he was fine but he hates that thing. This allows me to train and practice looking at myself. Great video on using the New York City Bully Squad on YouTube. Also some other great videos by others on the importance of using rings properly.
