I wanted a simple test lamp for infrequent use with a quality level somewhere between throwaway junk and space station approval. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this tool. The plastic and component quality is excellent, with a nice thick twisted test lead and alligator clip. The LED and voltage indicator are bright white, and the contact tip has a protective cover to prevent accidental puncture. The enclosed manufacturer's note gives the impression that the product was specially made for you. It's nice when the high quality of an inexpensive instrument is added to this feeling, as is the case here.
