Review on 👟 ASICS Gel-Kayano 24 Women's Running Shoe by Mary Bailey

I had high hopes for this shoe as I've liked my ASICS in the past and the reviews were decent enough. The problem with ASICS is that they change the model too often and the new version not only has a different fit but is also completely uncomfortable. With the Gel-Kayano 24, my toes were numb the first time I put them on the treadmill! That's probably because the toe box is so narrow. As always with ASICS, I ordered a size up and the shoe fits, but it's not enough. They also lack stability and my legs practically wobble when I wear them. I have a neutral arch and they have no noticeable arch support. My ASICS GT-1000 4 had great arch support and fit in every way, but of course they changed that one too and the new one got really bad reviews. I've been wearing ASICS for over 10 years now and absolutely love them. Unfortunately, a lot has changed with this shoe and I have now bought sneakers from other brands. Note to ASICS: Please do not change the fit of good models. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I really liked ASICS shoes and it's a pity that I have to change brands after so many years. Marketing can focus on other things like color or testimonials. When it comes to cost savings, I think you're doing yourself a disservice by losing loyal customers.
