I work in a big distribution center. We tried some hardware about 6 months ago and found the Zebra RS6000 very clunky (Zebra seems to understand and come up with a new model which I haven't tried with the RS5100). Tried this one, liked the price and ergonomics. So I have eight of these in the pilot program but the problems are: - Good battery life but not enough for a full shift. Users should therefore charge it at least during breaks and for lunch or dinner. - The tape is rough and doesn't last long. Need something better for full use. - The front glass will break. Someone broke it on the side before so it didn't affect the scan but today someone broke it on the front as shown in the photo so I'm ordering a replacement as well as some newer models for comparison.
