First fishing pants and I was concerned about the fit and quality of the fabric. I am very happy with this price. For a size reference I'm a 34 inseam and they come just above my ankles with the tie resting on my hips. I'm buying this for backpacking in Southeast Asia so I need this; I don't want pants that fall too low and get dirty or get stuck in my crotch. I also have a 34 waist. When using the single fold method, the folded portion extends between the front of my thighs (if you think of your thighs/groin as a "V", they go across the top of the V). In the end I'd love to try a fit that folds more from hip to hip, but I'm very happy with this fit because it looks good while remaining very moveable and flexible.
