We have previously purchased 2 other regular Herm Sprenger chain/pin collars for 2 of our dogs. Decided to try black with a buckle for our new dog. Now I have to buy 2 more of these to upgrade the others. It's so easy to use compared to having to constantly disassemble tines on another style. Just put it on like a normal collar and you're good to go. In my opinion the black collar looks better than the stainless look of the others. The buckle has a cover that slides over it to prevent accidental detachment. Bonus, it stays in place much better than the original chain style. It never falls off while walking. Recommend this to anyone who has a dog that pulls or who wants to teach their dog to focus on the walk and not the distractions.
