This was our third attempt at a salt shaker and by far the best so far. We've tried some nice glass pear grinders, but the grinder broke after a few months. I accused them of being super cheap. We then went in the opposite direction and bought a Le Creuset salt shaker. Unfortunately, it broke within a few months. So much for getting expensive. Then we landed on them. They have lasted longer than the two previous brands. Also, we now have a toddler who is obsessed with stealing salt. They grind perfectly despite constant use and abuse. Save time and money. Just buy these.
