I agree with the previous reviewer who said the brushes are too hard. I bought these hoping that I would have a tool to remove the tea residue that is building up in my teapot spout. I've tried a strong jet of hot water, filled the kettle with a solution of vinegar and even cleaned it with a cotton swab, but these methods are only partially effective. it would be better to reach the farthest recesses of the teapot and spout. They even fit in the built in tea infuser that some teapots have at the base of the spout. In any case, brushes are only marginally useful. I wasn't worried about the brushes breaking the kettle. To be honest, the company that sells them is called Dummies Brushes, not Dummies Brushes. Perhaps they will be effective in cleaning a metal cauldron. In addition to the teapot, a teapot is also shown on the product packaging; However, I wouldn't recommend these brushes if you want to clean the nooks and crannies of your favorite teapot.
