Some tips for this repair: 1. Take a paper cup, cut a slit in the bottom and remove about 1/3 of it Side. , then attach a flashlight to it so that it hangs about half an inch above the surface to be repaired. Makes your life easier. 2. Illuminate the repaired area for at least 10 minutes. This resulted in no tack when the cure strip was removed. (I had 2 chips, about 1/2" wide and 1/8" deep.) 3. Use a single edged blade at an 85 degree angle (almost perpendicular to the work surface) and scrape the available material from the Surface. before you start grinding. Hold the edge of the blade flat on the work surface and quickly scrape the blade across the surface, requires strong pressure, gentle touch and patience. If you're repairing a counter edge, use a blade to round the edge. Works great and speeds up the finishing process. Aside from the above changes, I followed the instructions in the kit and had trouble finding any of the repairs before I got to the wet sand steps. Works very well.
