I just wanted to find some grips that would make it easier for adult hands to handle the small Joy-Cons. They had good reviews so I figured they were a safe bet. I was totally impressed by the feel! They have a really nice texture, like smooth silicone rubber. They are made of plastic, but the surface is more pleasant to the touch. I would describe it as the soft feel you get from rubber without the sticky texture that rubber has. Joy-Cons slide in and out smoothly with no feeling of being squeezed or pinched. scratched, nor will they accidentally fall out. In addition, the shoulder buttons work very well and spring very well. As an unexpected and unmentioned bonus, they send some rubber buttons that you can attach to the joysticks to make them a bit taller and bigger. I thought they looked useless but now I have them on all my Joy-Cons and they are actually very good. I only needed two, but am considering buying another pair to share with friends who have switches. I'm really impressed with these little holders. Highly recommended. :)
