This cap is so good it's annoying. See I had an old Simple/Modern bottle with a cap. I found it to be much better than the other brand's lid which looked good because of the comfortable grip but felt like a suction exercise for squeezing water out of a straw. So I bought a new S/M cap, which I was reluctant to do because the cap is $10 and the whole bottle with the cap can be $15. Real engineering in the lid. In any case, the new lid is much better than the S/M lid, which I loved. The new hole is wider, and to say it sucks might be an oxymoron, but it's true. It's annoying that I now have to think about a new and improved S/M cap for my second bottle, where yesterday I was perfectly happy with my S/M cap, now I don't know how long I can keep this up. Just take a look. I can't imagine they will improve it but who knows. I'm a slow buyer so this story can go on and on. I'll wait a few years, I remember wanting to replace the good old but not great cover, would finally replace it and find out the S/M engineers have struck again and somehow made the cover even better. Please stop trying to make things better. This new cover is good enough! (Okay go ahead, if your engineers need jobs I guess I can buy caps forever.)
