This product was used to replace the hood pillars on my 2005 Corvette C6. I watched a YouTube video on how to install them and when I got them it took me less than 5 minutes to pull out the old ones and put in the new ones. Use a stick to lift the hood and support it when removing and replacing. Using a small, thin flathead screwdriver, poke under the retaining spring at each end and pry slightly, being careful not to push it all the way out. I used a couple of screwdrivers to slide the new ones in so they were ready to slide in, then pulled the screwdriver out and released the retaining clip. Great product at a great price.
