Initial tests seem good.

Out of box experience overall: Not bad!Couple of minor negatives to get out of the way: The case is steel. Consequently it is a lot heavier than it needs to be, and subject to rust. Would have preferred aluminum for obvious reasons. The screening on the case is essentially unreadable. Good news is there are few things to label. RF N Port 0 is the one closest to a protruding tab. Menu open is center button, other buttons are up / dn navigate, or just use the touch screen. Finger or included stylus. Also a USB:C would be preferred I'm guessing for many, but the USB mini cables are plentiful plus it is supplied with one. No on-screen batt voltage indication, but the 3 LEDs on the back that are grouped together show a 100/66/33 % power left indication and seem accurate enough. While charging each LED will sequentially blink to show charging status until all are solid.illumination. Seems to charge quickly from standard phone charger. (2 to 3 hrs)YouTube is your friend for quick start. They are all very similar in operation. Some Big Pros I see with this unit:N connectors! I don't really trust flimsy SMAs for long-term use like most of them have. You can Calibrate for a particular freq range and save to a slot. Comes with calibration slugs. Slot 0 is recalled at power up. Config settings such as screen rotate are also recalled at startup. This makes this unit very useable for frequent repeated antenna tests. You can turn it on an test an swr sweep or other tests in seconds! Easy to recall other calibrations for other ranges/antennas from other slots. 10 slots. Attached photo tests a commercial airband antenna and to my surprise it was right in spec. No more guessing about antennas whether commercially purchased or home built! Up to 201 scanning points per selected freq range compared to half that for most nanovna units. The plots seems smooth without a lot of noise.Nice bright screen! Case holds all accessories, though it is a tight fit. You should be able to fit in a couple extra adapters such as UHF or SMA but that's about it. Haven't used PC software yet. Provides more capability, but the beauty of this is quick accurate tests in the field just stand-alone. Recommending for the moment.

Pros
  • The set includes 4 different calibration tools
Cons
  • The set may not be compatible with all types of network analyzers and devices
