I first learned about this amazing innovation in a book I read about self motivation. I immediately bought an 8 inch timer and started using it around our house. Being able to see the time remaining (the red disc getting smaller, not the numbers) helps my kids better understand (visually) how much time is left. It also helped them learn to manage their time more effectively than before. It is very easy to use, so little hands can easily adjust the time to suit their needs. Especially before piano lessons or screen time, they always check if the timer is set. There is no annoying ticking noise that would make many nervous or anxious. Instead, the red disc prepares your mind calmer and quieter when the timer stops. The actual alarm tone is simple (a series of beeps) and not overly annoying or annoying to children's ears. After seeing how good this timer is, I bought another smaller one (3 inches). This is the perfect size for my child's desk. She takes distance classes, and between live classes and private classes or breaks, she uses it to keep track of her time. This timer is a must have for our daily life.
