Needs to be reset too often

An excellent router while it works. The problem is that it only works for a few hours at a time. First iOS devices show "No internet connection", then Windows devices follow. I have registered a product with Netgear and on several occasions have listened to several gentlemen reviewing a script to solve my problem only to have the same problem keep coming up. If you reset it by turning it off, the expander will work fine for the number of hours. The staff I spoke to didn't seem to understand the concept. All of the steps we took that resulted in me eventually unplugging and resetting the device had the same effect as simply unplugging it without the extra steps. I don't know if my blockage is bad, but if it lasts a day or so, it will come back. I could get a $30 unit for such nonsense. It'll probably have the same issues, but it'll be $150 cheaper. Reading these reviews, I see that many of the people who gave it four and five stars seem to have no problem constantly resetting it. Folks, this means your device is not working properly. I have tried working with Netgear customer service but they are the worst. They'll force you to reset or change it just for you to plug it back in and voila, it works! About another 30 minutes to an hour as if you unplugged it yourself. If you try to explain this to the good people of India, they have to repeat their scenario every time. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been on the phone with India for over 3 hours as they make me do the same thing over and over again even though they explain to me blue in the face that these steps won't work. The last tactic of the staff is to just stop me and forget me.
