The metal is very thin but it beats the plastic that has already chipped on our RV. This was on a 2003 Fleetwood Pioneer 18T6. Doesn't fit perfectly but it worked. It doesn't exactly match the door either, but if the guy wanted to drill two extra holes he could do it easily enough.
