Flossing is part of my daily oral hygiene routine which means I floss a lot. That means lots of discarded bits of thread and non-biodegradable plastic containers. For those who care about the environment, this product is a good alternative to Mass Filament. The product comes in an attractive bamboo case with a 30m spool of filament inside. The canister unscrews at the top where the end of the filament passes through the metal cutter and also unscrews in the center to replace the spool. The thread itself is made of silk coated with wax. It slides well through tightly clenched teeth and doesn't break or wear out like other threads I've used. At just under $11, that's fair value for a biodegradable product. There are several options on the market for replacement silk spools that can be purchased at a price not much higher than regular filament.
