Review on Wanyifa Titanium M5X20Mm Tapered Bicycle by Mark Cannon

These bolts were perfect for replacing the rusty nasty stem bolts on my white 2014 Giant Defy2 stem. This is where I'm sweating and over time those studs started to look awful. The new ones won't oxidize/rust (I hope so far so good!) I took a chance but ordered the right size. When I measured the length of the bolt it was 18mm but I chose 20mm because I couldn't see the end of the bolt from the other side - I had a feeling that something longer would still work and be even stronger. When I used an allen wrench to remove the bolts (1 of each), I used a cleaner and a Q-tip to remove dirt and oxidation from the area, then put 1 drop of machine oil on the threads of the bolt. new screw and screwed each back in, then tightened all 6 screws when finished. I figured I only needed 4 (my only focus was on the 4 bolts tapering outwards from the stem arm) but there are 2 perpendicular and closer to the rider at the back end of the stem. Be careful when tightening so you don't accidentally pull the screws off as this could damage the finish. I haven't reviewed these bolts in a bike shop but I'm pretty sure the price will be a lot higher and I saved myself the trouble of taking my bike to bother the mechanic. I probably still wouldn't make it during this pandemic! Good luck - it was a fun little project that wasn't "essential" but for someone with an eye for detail it was definitely an upgrade.
