Review on Beck Arnley 131 2479 BECKARNLEY Water by Ben Balas

Typical of Beck Arnley products, well made and well finished. I believe the description says a metal impeller and this was high temp plastic but suitable for the application. Don't expect any problems with a properly working cooling system. The bearings are smooth and strong. Not affiliated with the product: if you are installing this in a Mini Cooper like me expect to struggle with the frontmost bolts. Replacing that water pump is not an easy or fun task. If your water pump is bad, you should also expect (and I would recommend) replacing the plastic cross pipe under the intake. I discovered this after putting everything back together, taking everything apart again and also having to remove the air intake to have enough clearance and visibility to install this cross tube. It's okay if you already have everything except the water pump. Hope that helps!
