Unfortunately I ignored the other negative reviews when ordering 2 of these. As mentioned, screws are cheap and break during assembly, even with pre-drilled holes. The rope frayed right out of the box and the nylon straps are so long that you either have to sew them shorter or buy other straps. The only good thing about it so far is the suspenders. Since you still have to replace the straps/screws/rope, you can save some money and buy all the parts at the hardware store and make them yourself. My plan was to use this lift system to store my kayaks in my garage. I would never trust this to the cheap parts that come with this package. As other reviewers have pointed out, the instructions are terrible. I had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to thread rope over pulleys. Save yourself time and nerves and buy something else.
