The material it is made of is too flexible for the task so it doesn't fully compress the citrus halves inside. I try turning the citrus several times and squeezing it in different ways to try to squeeze out all of the juice and it still leaves a lot of juice inside which I can then squeeze better by hand. I lament the juice wasted by this overly flexible design, and it eventually becomes inflexible. Also, citrus fibers stick to the grooves inside when you rinse, and it's not easy to remove the onion for a proper cleaning. If a classic metal juicer was available when I bought it, I would have preferred it. Oh, what juice I would have!
