I have an echo in my bathroom. I LOVE casually listening to my morning news podcasts and turning them on and off with my voice because my hands are almost always busy brushing my teeth, washing my face and many other things that keep me from to press a button. This device solved the problem perfectly. The problem is where to place the device. I like NOTHING on my countertops except a bottle of hand soap and this has helped. There is an excellent cable management system (hides the cable completely), the shelf is very, very strong (I have a larger Echo device - heavy) and doesn't bend at all. Installation was easy - no instructions needed - I liked one person's advice that you have a few trickier parts to put together than you think and they were right. I also like that there is no chrome accent. I don't know why manufacturers add chrome to the white plastic parts in the bathroom. That's not a very good combination. Very good price and fully functional.
