I created a situation in my house where I had to charge my phone on the wall, so apparently the doctor ordered exactly such things. Installation was a bit tricky as the box that houses the outlet is a redesigned surface mount box that protrudes a few millimeters from the wall surface. This resulted in the shelf not being secure so I had to make some simple modifications to the box with a dremel. Two minutes of work and of course my fault that I have a slightly non-standard socket.
