Review on 💾 OCZ Storage Solutions Trion 100 Series 240GB SATA III 2.5" Solid State Drive - Reliable and Lightning-Fast Performance by Darrell Sharp

I bought this as my main hard drive for my spare laptop. My laptop is about 5 years old and has become very slow. I decided to replace my old hard drive with this SSD and install Linux Mint as my main operating system. Once toggled, it's very fast and responsive. In many ways it's even faster than the HP Envy which I bought as my primary laptop 6 months ago. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first one I ordered didn't work when I received it. Revain sent a free replacement drive very quickly and the replacement worked great. However, this makes me a little worried that the drive will fail in the future. In fairness, this can happen to any drive, which is why all important data needs to be backed up. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again. It turned my old, barely usable laptop into a very fast backup. Just make sure all important information is backed up.
