Review on 🐾 Premium Petsfit Expandable Cat and Dog Carrier: Airline Approved Soft-Sided Portable Pet Travel Washable Carrier for Kittens and Puppies by Stacy Hahn

This tote bag was perfect for my first flight (ha!) with my kitten Finn. It fits perfectly under the seat of an American Airlines plane and on the way back it fits perfectly under the seat of a Frontier Airlines plane. I find it to be a very well made product with great attention to detail. The only suggestion I could make to the manufacturer would be: 1) Make an extra pocket (perhaps behind a piece of material that I believe is intended to be used with a seat belt). An extra pocket would be handy but not essential and certainly not a reason to give this product less stars. As a precaution for future buyers, there is a double zipper on one side of the stretcher's narrow ends, which is a nice feature. However, I would advise you to ENSURE the two zippers are in contact with each other every time you retrieve a bag. In fact, in the future I might find a way to attach them together - a small padlock, zip tie, etc. during transport. I realized that if two zippers didn't touch, my girlfriend had enough room to slide her paw at that point and start opening. I caught it early in the action so it wouldn't come out, but after that I had to make sure they were a really snug fit. • The handles/straps are comfortable and adjustable and the long strap is detachable. well thought out. It is a single piece of plastic covered in a faux sheepskin cover that can be removed for washing. • Breathable mesh parts were durable and chew resistant. I was worried about it but it really held up, no problem. • There is a foldable partition between the sliding side and the inside of the trunk. This is handy for allowing you to choose when your pet has access to the "Deck" or "Patio" expansion (my words, not theirs haha) • Expansions Page - RESCUE! My god I can't tell you how lucky I am to have a carrier that can give her a little extra room. It really helps her feel a lot less crazy and like she has a choice (cats love choice) about where to be. Very useful, very well designed and has a zip down the middle so it can also be used as an entry/exit or any other access. • I had to throw it in the washing machine after a vet visit. (stressed urination ensued) and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the fact that the structural sticks that help shape the pouch slide out so you can toss the entire pouch in the wash if needed. In fact, they don't just pop out, they have little special sleeves with velcro on the ends, so you can be sure that the rays didn't accidentally pop out. They specifically designed it that way. I would definitely recommend this carrier to anyone with a cat or small dog. Finn absolutely hates his hard plastic bag, but will literally walk into it voluntarily when it's on the ground. Incredible. Well, maybe it has something to do with the gabapentin the vet prescribed for her or how I taught her to take it by putting a treat way in the carrier to help her get used to it. but right now, even without medication, she is MUCH happier in this vehicle than the other.
