Update 05/12/2021: Both long sides of the case interfere and interrupt the touchscreen. If the case shrinks on the long sides or corners, the touchscreen recognizes this as a touch, which frustrates my kids when they do something on the iPad. iPad thinks multiple fingers are touching it, so it doesn't do anything. I noticed that the material feels thin on the long sides and doesn't hold when pressed. So I'm deducting 1 star from my rating. Update April 17, 2021: Still works and my kids love the cover. The stand broke a week after purchase so was useless as a kid as it was difficult to pull out, it comes loose over time, sticks and kids just aren't clingy. Due to Covid we chose not to take long trips so we weren't able to test it on the go. Although we have used the strap to hang it from furniture such as bunk beds. I like this option. This makes it difficult for children to hold the screen close to their face. Additionally, a handle next to the charging port saved some cables from being kinked and broken by children, turning the iPad stand into a portrait stand. Gives extra space - not ideal, but will increase cable life. Source rating car seat vertical and horizontal. Since it can hang, I can hang it on the bunk bed so the kids can watch their shows without having to hold it to their eyes. This is very important as our child optometrist said that children are still developing their eyesight and anything close to a fixed point will cause problems. For this reason, my first child has prescription glasses. The case is soft to the touch and the color is the same as the picture on Amazon. This shell worries me. It does the job, but I wonder how long it will last. I have a part of the body that I would like to do. I want the speaker holes (next to the charging port) to face the viewer instead of directly outward. My child's previous case had holes for the front speaker which made it easier to listen to and my child didn't have to turn up the volume to hear them in busy places. Speakers, ghetto blasters and more have always pointed to the listener, so it would be ideal if the cabinet could fill in that missing feature. But that may be my personal preference. I haven't used it long enough but I'll update if there are any problems.
