Just received and NOT WORKING!

Wow, just got it in the mail 30 minutes ago and NOT WORKING! How does a company willingly sell a non-working product? I can't believe I wasted my money and time. A piece of junk! The fan is blowing, but as soon as I switch it to heating mode, it shuts off completely!
