Review on High-Performance 1 Pack 40/30 AMP 12 V DC Waterproof Relay and Harness - Heavy Duty 12 AWG Tinned Copper Wires, 5-PIN SPDT Bosch Style Automotive Relay by Andy Hearshman

I was upgrading my axles on my Jeep Rubicon and needed something to mimic the original locker identification switch. I hooked this up to a circuit so that when I turn on my lockers the relay closes which tells the jeep that the locker is activated. This fixes the issue with the cabinet light blinking and turns it into a solid light on the dashboard. Very easy to fix with this relay. I mounted the relay near the axle, wrapped the wiring harness around the wires and secured everything to the original wiring harness with zip ties to prevent the wires from failing due to bending stress. This relay is well built and looks like it will last a long time. Time. I agree with the other reviewer - the wires could have been longer, 12" would have been great so I could compensate for the waterproof connections I was using. I will order more if needed.
