We did a lot of research and liked that it was made in the USA. I received it and it turned out to be well made, albeit not as reliable as I expected. I wanted to use it, and that's when the problems started. The reading should be held until you press the reset button. However, the needle began to descend immediately after removing it from the valve stem and went down very quickly, preventing you from getting accurate readings. I've tried different types of tires (car, truck, mower) and it's happened every time. On the third or fourth tire I heard a slight hiss and eventually followed it to a button to release the extra air so basically air was getting in and not making a good seal. I really wanted to like this sensor, but based on my experience, I can't recommend it. I'm about to return it and will try another manufacturer.
