If you only print from PLA it's a waste of money

If you only print from PLA it's a waste of money that only complicates your workflow and makes the prints worse than on a standard hotend. I bought it in April 2019, it's now late January 2020. I've tried very hard to make it work. I have read many reviews, multiple blogs and online forums saying this is a great upgrade. In my experience it caused jams or tension on almost every print, although I changed the print temperature and took away the temperature settings to better suit what was needed. for hot end. I know a lot of people will think I didn't do my due diligence and research enough to get the settings right, and that's a fair criticism. That being said I've been trying to use this for 8 months, watched a few YouTube videos, read forums and blogs and tried to find the right temperatures and settings for different brands and colors of PLA with varying degrees of success. Ranging from worse than my standard hot end to being a string nightmare. I've tried different settings from timing options to retraction settings and I could never get it to produce quality prints. I tried reinstalling it several times to see if I did something wrong but the result was the same. I finally gave up and went back to my standard hotend last month and I'm printing again with better quality and lower cost. If I could go back to this moment, I would. I can see where those planning to print with materials that require higher temperatures might need it, but if you're only printing at 195°C - 220°CI I'd recommend using your standard hotend, and this is a waste of time and money.
