Definitely up a size - got a size 6 when my daughter just went up to a size 5 in another brand of shoes. The six is really tight here and will definitely not survive the summer. Should have gotten a 7 or 6.5 which is ridiculous because I've just started wearing a size 5 in regular shoe brands. That annoys me a lot, because the size difference is just huge. BUT they are cute, much better than I thought. The rubber is thick, the shoes are not thin.
