This is definitely not 20"x20". I measured with a tape measure when they arrived and each of the napkins was approximately 18.5" x 18.5". Then I washed all the cloths and when they were dry I measured again and everything was about 18" x 18". So if you are expecting a 20" x 20" napkin, you will be disappointed. The colors are great, but only after the first wash, so we'll see how quickly they fade over time. And I hand washed these napkins separately as I was afraid of color transfer and it was a good decision. I've noticed that darker colors like red, brown, and purple leach the color of the water, so you can at least wash the first two washes separately until they don't anymore.
