I bought these shoes for kayaking. They dry quickly and fit well around my feet even when I'm walking on muddy river bottoms, with damn good grip when you're getting out of the water and going over slippery rocks. The only major downside I've found is that if I wear them for too long, they can start rubbing on the heel, especially if I'm walking on clay, as it will rub quite quickly. If I'm camping at the end of a kayak trip or stopping for more than a few minutes and exploring the forest, I'll take them off and put on my normal boots/shoes, but I'll need to bring blister plasters with a heel strap, just in case. But for water use and light hiking I find them fantastic and very comfortable.
